Jeb Miller joined JAFCO in 2009 as a general partner, bringing 15 years of experience working with early-stage technology companies as a venture capitalist, operating executive and investment banker. Jeb has focused his investments in the software, internet and IT infrastructure sectors and is passionate about teaming with entrepreneurs to help build successful companies
Before joining JAFCO, Jeb was a Principal with the U.S. Growth Fund at The Carlyle Group, one of the world's largest private equity firms. Prior to Carlyle, Jeb spent six years working with two early-stage venture capital firms, including three years as a Partner with ComVentures and three years as a Principal with Worldview Technology Partners. Jeb began his venture capital career with Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, a corporate venture effort he co-founded.
Previously, Jeb was Managing Director of Business Development for Scient, a pioneering internet consulting firm. Jeb began his career with Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking groups in New York, Boston, and Menlo Park.
Jeb currently serves on the Board of World Golf Tour, the world's most authentic online golf experience, and is an advisor to several early-stage companies. Prior investments he was responsible for include AdInfuse (acquired by Velti), Innotas, Intruvert Networks (acquired by McAfee), LogLogic, ONStor (acquired by LSI Logic), Pano Logic and Rhapsody Networks (acquired by Brocade).
In addition, Jeb is serving his second term as a venture capital consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense's DeVenCI (Defense Venture Catalyst Initiative) program.
Jeb has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard College where he graduated summa cum laude.
