Chuan joined JAFCO Ventures in our Boston office as a Partner in 2003 bringing almost ten years of experience working with emerging technology companies. Prior to JAFCO Ventures, Chuan worked for JAFCO Co., Ltd. in a variety of roles, including as a venture investor in their Global Information Technology Investment Group. During his tenure at JAFCO, Chuan has aided several data communications and telecommunications investments in Asia and the United States in developing marketing strategies and establishing business alliances throughout Asia. Given his extensive experience and network, Chuan divides his time between investment and Asia business development activities, with a particular focus on storage and communication technologies.
Chuan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and international marketing from Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan.
